See What I See

Look through my eyes,
and see what I see.
The whole world beyond
is a complete mystery.
I hardly know others,
and I know myself even less.
The light and dark merge
to become complete emptiness.
I've been using art to vent
through all of this confusion;
The colors, words and music
seem almost amusing.
Yet, even though,
these artistic talents show,
the rest of me is still
locked up inside the shadows.
People keep saying
that they know me very well.
Could they truly know more
than even I can tell?
If I had a chance
to look through others' eyes,
would I see many truths
that I've been thinking were lies?
And if there are others
who are more confused than me
I would let them look through my eyes
to see what I see.
