When I first fell for you I didn't even know your name. And I risked my sanity for a hand in the 'love game'. When I had you in my life my heart finally felt whole. Is seeing believing, through mirrors big and small? It can be held in your hand or hung on the wall. Lights will make shadows, and figures will appear. When I am down he always helps me through, and when I'm up I do nothing but smile. When I'm around him, I feel like a mile. And even though I really don't want to, someday I will have to let my heart be true. I'll have to tell him that I didn't like him for a while, but that I love him and can't stay in denial. A long time ago. When the world was still new. There were no colors to be seen, only shades of gray. The sun would rise to be a giant ball in a dark sky. And then the night would come with no ceremony. The animals grew weary and the plants became sick. With no color the whole world was dying. In the scheme of things...

Well, I had full intention of going full on back into my art, but life hit...again. For starters the apartment my husband and I live in is infested with black mold.  We are currently looking for new lodging and attempting to keep the mold off of our things.  Of course while this is going on I realize that I have too much clutter and am simultaneously throwing stuff out and organizing what I have. I'm a busy woman between all that, a full time job, and trying to help the family out (who are in hard times) in any way I can.  So of course my art obsession has to be put on hold until I can unclutter and unstress a little more.  Ironically enoug

Back from Hiatus

It really doesn't feel like it's been almost 3 years since the last time I was here.  A lot has happened though, so that may be why time passed quickly. I've bought cars. I got married May 4, 2013. We moved up the mountain to be close to my job. I've watched family die. I've seen family born. That may not seem like much but I didn't want to drone on listing the other stuff, so I only wrote the highlights.  I love my husband.  He gives me inspiration, hope, and joy.  In fact he is part of the reason I picked up a pencil again.  Now I am not a miracle artist, but I am practicing.  I am currently on Gaia Online doing avi art for people as

It's not trolling, it's called encouragement, if people had been a bit more honest with you in life, maybe you could offer us something good to look at.

And no art is not art no matter the artist's skill. That's why people actually go to school to learn it, it's a trade.
